My bf is taking alcohol daily. he is taking 1 or 1.5 qtr rum daily. its very serious matter or it is quite normal? i should ignore it or wat?

I couldn't consume that much in a day even in my youth. I would say he is well on his way in becoming an alcoholic. Yes, this is a serious problem.
