I have been having a problem with these little flying insects in my kitchen. It looks like they may be coming from the sink, but it is hard to tell. They are only about 1/4 inch with clear wings, looks like a fruit fly, not sure, have pic

Do you have a garbage disposal? Run it with some ice cubes. Or pour drano into your sink. Little flies sometimes are able to live in your drain.

Use a large pot of boiling water. Dump it down your drain running the disposal if you have one. Repeat it a few days in a row. If you have larva in there that should kill it.

They may be coming from the drain. Called drain flies. Do they look like this:

Maybe their going TO the drain, instead of coming from the drain...Look in any bags, boxes of flour type things you have. I once got a bag of pancake mix from the store that had something similar coming out of it. Check oatmeal, flour, seasoned rice, noodle mixes, etc.
