i think there is much possibility(80%) of it because before mughals entered into India the only religion exist in India was Hinduism and it could be possible at that place many temples could have exist at that time. since Muslims were ruling that place at that time they could have destroyed them

It would be obviously a very illogical and wasteful endeavour for any of Mohammedan conqueror-by-force to pull down the whole temple and waste time 're-building' it using the same material; as it would have been much simpler and straightforward to plunder the gold and other ornaments of the temple’s sanctum-sanctorum, level it into a court-yard, or make it into a washing-pond; and you have a mosque! 100s of mosques so fashioned out –not ‘built’— by pillaging existing temples, or cathedrals bear testimony to this religious vandalism by Mohammedans. Examples: Qa’ba, Hagia Sophia (Istanbul), Marttand-Kashmir, Taj Rajput-mahal, ‘Babri-Ram-Temple-mosque, Ayodhya, Mathura, Kashi & 100s of temples in Hinnd (India). Starting with Bhadresvar, Dhruv-stambha-Jain Temple called Qutub in present-day, Jaunpur, Kanauj, Ahmedabad, Sirkej, Butwa, Mandu, Dhar, Gaur, Kalburga, Gwalior, Futtehpur Sikri, Adhai-din-ka-Zompra, Ajmer & so on.
