Yep, it stunk. The set-up to make the ending "work" was heavily flawed. It was quite a reach. The movie was Scooby Doo on a larger scale.

M Night Shyamalan's movies have been going steadily downhill, in my opinion. He focuses on symbolism way too much instead of the characters and storylines.

I loved that movie. I had it figured out before I was 40 minutes into watching the film.

one of the worst movies i ever saw. it was a total insult to my intelligence. He tries too hard to give us the clever twist and relies on it too much. The problem is his twists are usually easy to figure out and the rest of the movie sucks.

It was probably the last movie that director did that had a true unexpected ending.
