  • hey if she wants to fuck a guy or several for tickets let her. legally its a loop hole. she wasnt prostituting herself but is right on the line. theres nothing they can really do
  • Within reason she should be able to
  • Although I think she is crazy, for the possible situation she is putting herself in, she should have the right to have sex with whoever she chooses, she is an adult. I do not think prostitution should be illegal for adults.
  • I suppose, but eeewwwww. lol. I know I personally would rather go without the tickets.
  • It's called bartering.
  • prostitution is illegal. It's not just women you know..
  • no what she was doing was soliciting prostitution, which is illegal. if a woman should be allowed a man should be allowed as well. both are illegal. and if she had half a brain she wouldnt have posted it on craigs list. needless to say she should be prosecuted. i dont think she would have found a taker of that offer is what makes this whole thing funny
  • No, while I agree that with prostitution the damage done is mostly to the prostitute, there are good reasons why not. It is the easiest job that anyone can do but it offers nothing. If it was legal as soon as a girl hit 18 they would be making easy money. Why would any girl have sex for free, if they could charge for it? Think that girl at the bar is into you? No sir, she is ho. Real life would become like those annoying pop-up ads... a bunch of small talk that sounds real, then all of a sudden they start charging you. Legal Prostitution would devalue sex even more than it already is. Further more there is the subject of the spread of disease.
  • That is SUCH an open question. Women DO have abortions, claiming that it's their body, even though it isn't really. Murderers also use their bodies to kill others. Drug addicts fill their bodies with chemicals that do them no real good at all. Should a woman (or a man) be allowed to do what they wish with their own bodies? While on the surface it sounds good, it is in fact a very bad idea.
  • Well it is a very extreme idea... But I think it's okay and that she should be allowed to do it. +5
  • solid BULL, prostitution is the oldest profession. now i am 20 and a virgin so do not take this out of context and say i am some sex-crazed pervert. but logically thinking: she is offering a service in exchange for goods. whats wrong with that? how is prostituion any different from paying someone for a nice hair-cut and stamed towel? in amsterdame prostitution is legal and they don't have any horrible statistics making it seem so bad. i feel like if i or anyone else should like to either buy or sell sex as a service then there is nothing different from any other business transaction. when you buy on ebay you can never be sure of what your getting until you get it(mabey it is damaged in shipping or did not work to begine with) and the risk of STDs are just part of the game(contractors useing cheap wood) whatever...if legalized there would be motive to show clinleness on thier part: get tested often, advertise results. people just need to calm down and live/let live.
  • No because she is committing a heinous act. Anybody that says otherwise (and I'm not even reading the other answers because I know the crap they'll say) is proof that the world is disgusting.
  • It's a he said she said, waste of the taxpayers money and the courts time.
  • Everyone should have a say with what they do with their own bodies. Prostitution, drugs, abortion, etc. Some apply to one gender, some to both. I don't believe self-monitored activities should be illegal; yet they should be monitored for fear of abuse.
