if you wana be smart, limit gambling. eat food, see shows, get some drinks. all that stuff is cheap because they want to get you to gamble. you can just wander up and down the strip and find all kinds of crazy crap to observe. ah forget about it, you'll be fine.

Depending on what you want out of Vegas: The western part of outside of town has great hiking. If you want the "new classic" Vegas, Ceasar's and the Aladin of course. If you are looking for cliche Vegas, stop by Terrible's on Paradise (one VERY LONG block off the strip at the intersection of Paradise and I think it's Flamingo). Also, there is a great tapa's place on Paradise up toward the convention center I don't remember the name of.

one thing i'd recommend ANYONE going to vegas is don't be stingy with the hotel room...that whole 'it's just for sleeping' line is bull....in vegas, your hotel will be for a lot more

Go to some night clubs go gambling, drink, go to some strip clubs haha go ride on the rides they have at some hotels.

Get drunk, gamble away your life, sleep with a prostitute. Repeat steps one to three

Get pissed and gamble. You're not exactly going to find any places of historical interest there, it's not the Vatican.
