Do you like to sleep in complete silence, with white noise, or a tv/radio on?

My wife prefers "white noise", but i can't tell if it really white, since it is so dark.

I like it to be moderately quiet with the background noise of passing cars and rain on my window.

Not that I get it but I like complete silence. I wear ear plugs(husband snores)that only muffles the sound. He gets up at 3a.m.THEN I get wonderful peaceful sleep.

i like a really loud ticking clock, preferably old. i can't sleep without one going.

Tv although iv been told by my girlfriend not to =/ i do sometimes just for shits and giggles but its not really that much better than going to bed in silence. Its supposebly a better nights sleep? but i don't really feel it..

When I was living alone I slept with the radio or a 200 cd changer playing.

I try not to sleep with anything on... ;) but umm the other night I fell asleep with the TV on... and I was eating baby carrots in bed... so I woke up to the TV blarring and found I had been sleeping with the carrots... some on me.. around me... the bag was by my knee... I swear I was sober when I fell alseep! Oh you didnt want to know if I sleep with Carrots... but it was all because of the TV!
