Yes he is one being.

"GOD" goes by many names. Muslims call Him "Allah", for instance. Jehovah (which is a deriviative of YHWH). Addonai. Too many to list. Praise be to the Creator.

I think there’s two problems with this assessment, Mister_IT. First of all, Elohim is a plural noun in Hebrew. Thus, this passage can easily be translated as “The Gods spake unto Moses,” with one God—YHWH—acting as spokesman for the group. Secondly, even if we assume that “Elohim” is here being used in the sense that Latter-day Saints tend to use it (i.e. a name for the Father), the scriptures are replete with Divine investiture, and no book of the Bible exemplifies this better than Exodus. Heck, the Lord even uses investiture with some of His mortal servants in Exodus 4:14-16! In short, it’s a nice thought, but I think you’re really straining at a gnat here. HTH!

You have to understand the simple truths of our religion. Joseph Smith was a man of god and would not lie to you and I. He was a prophet and would not lead us astray. The bible is a very sacred text and is god's word. This word has been altered and changed by man, over time. When you read the bible, you need to keep this is mind... When you come to a verse that says... "I and the father are one" or "he who has seen me, has seen the father". You have to look at these verses relative to the Book of Mormon. So, in essence, you need to gloss over certain words, phrases, sentences or even chapters.
