Yes I have! It's a terrific site. I have adopted dogs I've found on Petfinder. Of course, pet adoption, on both sides of the deal, is one thing my wife and I do a lot of. We are extremely active in greyhound rescue and highly recommend owning one. They make wonderful pets. Of course, Petfinder is working overtime right now. Because of the difficult economic times we find ourselves in, all rescues, e. g., breed specific (non-kill) and high kill animal shelters operated by cities and counties, stay over-full. Many of the people who find themselves in foreclosure are having to turn their dogs in to the local shelter. Dogs and cats, are dying by the tens of thousands each week nowadays. My wife and I own a pet boarding facility, as well as spending most of our time away from our pet lodge working in pet and animal rescue, so we see a lot of bad situations - especially in these times.
