Explain briefly why insoluble AgCl is soluble in ammonia solution and sodium thiosulfate solution, why the colour on Co(2+) in aqueous solution changes on addition of HCl and why the colour of Fe(3+) changes in the presence of NCS-

    Briefly: AgCl reacts in those solutions to form soluble products. The colours change because a reaction occurs where the products are different ions (Co and Fe with different charges).
