  • You're allowed to do what you like, but it'd be highly appreciated by most of us if you'd have the courtesy of using astericks while doing so. i.e., f***, d***...so forth and so on...
  • Cursing is a symtom of stupidity, and lack of vocabulary. I would not attempt it, and by the way, it is spelled "allowed" ... we see why you want to know if you can curse.
  • Yes, we absolutely are. But I would advise if you don't, a lot of people will get offended therefore flag your question or answer. If you would like to curse(and I would advise you curse only in answers and comments), I would use write f**k or s**t, with the star things.
  • Sometimes it doesn't get flagged and sometimes it does. Who knows?
  • I have done it on more than one occasion but you never really know who is looking at it so its not a good thing.
  • It is more polite not to swear on AB. Generally the community is a place where kids and adults all come together, so since there are kids here we try not to swear. That is not to say I have not used the odd swear word myself. You do have to think about how appropriate it is for what you are answering. I can't say I've seen any questions with swear words in them last long though :) Not meaning to be rude either - but just for your future awareness - "aloud" means saying something out loud so other can hear - I think you meant "allowed" as in do you have permission.
  • I think the general guideline is that the occasional expletive will not be looked at too harshly. However, if you start dropping MF-bombs like a rapper and/or start directing that profanity as personal insults, the staff will be displeased and will take appropriate action. It's usually best to err on the side of clean language. That's the real sh....er, dope.....;-D...
  • You can definitely swear on Answerbag, but its not advisable.
  • It happens. But there are so many great words to use in place of swearing.
