  • You have to be careful whenever approaching redistribution of wealth that you avoid two huge pitfalls. You do not want to give the lazy a free pass to do nothing at the expense of others. Give them any indication that they can, and they will. Likewise, you do not want to give the industrious the impression that there is no point in hard work, because the fruits of their labor will be taken from them and fed to the lazy who do no work. I am all for society building a safety net to keep people who fall on bad times or who are unable to work from having to beg or starve. I believe in progressive taxation to prevent what wealth there is from being pooled in the hands of a tiny percentage of people. And I believe in workfare as opposed to welfare, where all who are able do something useful to earn a living, even if it has to be at the public expense.
  • There is a problem my friend. Those with the wealth will reject it and those with no money are already overloaded with it. :(
  • Why would you want to do this?
