  • Break it down into small attainable goals, a little at a time:) good luck!!
  • Distraction. When I was stopping smoking I taught myself to knit from a book and knitted a Guernsey pullover. It required a great deal of concentration and occupied the hands. Mostly I think it is occupying the hands, sewing, carpentry, model making all would do.
  • A friend told me that if you refuse yourself something twenty-one times -- in-a-row -- it breaks the habit. I have never tried it myself, but she said it works. Can't be easy.
