Why is there a continuous exodus of Muslims from countries under the rule of Islam, aka 'abode of peace', to non-Mohammedan countries, which they are told to call 'abode of war'?

Non-islamic countries, due to the nature of free societies, have more prosperity and a higher standard of living as well as a tolerance for other faiths. The abode of war comes in when muslims reach a majority and will not make peace when they have the upper hand. It is so ordered in the quran to strike at such time. For an example, look up the Lebanese civil war.
