Yes, I find it annoying. And when you flag it I get an E-mail saying the question is slightly different and my moderation is not accepted

Yes. It's almost mind boggling how many duplicates, or almost duplicates, there are out there. Yesterday I found two on a certain topic that were almost identical, yet each question had about 40 answers each. Amazing.

I'm on the fence with this one - both agreeing and yet believeing that some questions may be presented in a different way and solicit different responses altogether...

There are a few users that even acknowledge that they are copying questions because they are too lazy to think and they simply want points, so yes, the number of copied questions just in the last week alone has gotten me 1,000 moderation points.

Yes I have noticed this. I just ignore 'the' question if I have answered one that's similar in meaning. But I always answer Gtravels, Prettypirate and Stableboy's questions. :-)

I read one the other day that was an exact duplicate, and I mean word for word, of one I had read earlier.

Yes, now that I've been an ABer for a few weeks, I have seen quite a few duplicate questions with just a word or two different.

Yes I think some do. But I also know that alot of people are new to AB and they may not realize it. I know that it shows duplicate questions but they may not see it at first. But I do think some people can't find questions on their own and try to re-word other postings.
