I have managed to view a scanned image saved as a .tiff file - I now would like to upload the image to a webpage for my friends to see but am not sure how to do it. Will they need to download software such as 'infranview' in order to view the .tiff file?

My friend has a wonderful picture of her that she wants me to change to black and white, except she doesnt like the pic so much because her nose and cheeks are very oily looking. Is there anyway to take this out of the image?? I would be using GIMP 2

You're reading Is there anywhere that has good tutorials for GIMP that could give my art a more hand-colored look than a digital one? I'm hoping to learn how to make artwork look like it was done in a medium such as copic markers.
