Should public school buses, loaded with children, be allowed on the interstate? most of the buses i have observed were either going too slow and 70 mph seems unsafe with children onboard.

Balance. If they took another route, then the costs of transportation would increase due to the requirement of school buses stopping at all railway tracks.

Most school buses were never designed or built to be operated on interstate highways. There are some buses are and have the capability to do so. The rest should be banned from the interstate system and used on U.S. and secondary highways only. Most school buses are top heavy and can turn over easily. they also do not pass most safety crash tests.
