Why would my husband object so much to a vasectomy? He definately doesn't want any more kids, and we been together 17 years. but he says it is an attack on his masculinity, how?

It's the same feeling with women and hysterectomy. Some of the organs that make you a woman (or man) being removed surgically? I mean, I know why it's done, to prevent pregnancy, bur still, I understand why your husband said it would be an attack on his masculinity.

Tell him it is not an attack on his masculity. They don't chop his testicles off. I had one done in February this year and, truly, it doesn't hurt a bit.
