I`m new to the site, if i click on helpful does it give a rating & if so how do i know what rating score i`ve given or am i getting it all wrong.

If you have posted a question, and received an answer that you're happy with, you can rate it by clicking on either the 'thumbs up' symbol, (if you like it), or the 'thumbs down' symbol (if you don't.) The point value of the answer increases by 2 points if you like it, and decreases if you don't. Hope that helps ;-) P.S. You can also rate questions in the same way. JamesD.
