As I lie here in bed sick, watching the ceiling fan - I thought of a question... how many times does the ceiling fan rotate per minute on high?

    Im so sorry You feel bad Kewl Guy. Is it the Flu? I really hope you get well soon so you can stop watching that Fan going round and round...rotating a Billion times per minute. (or so it seems right now!)

    get a stopwatch and mark a blade and try and count, just don't stand up for 5 or 10 min

    I imagine it depends on the manufacturer, the number of coils in the motor, and the condition of the unit, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was about 2400-3600 rpm.
