Latin, it is a latin language. english would be a latin language, but it is too close to German, so English is a Germanic language.

Portuguese, in written, but not pronunciation. (of the ones you listed, Latin). Romanian is also a Romance language (i.e. based on Latin). My French teacher was Greek and spoke 10+ languages, 7 fluently.

Latin and Greek are the closest to Spanish, for they form the roots of romance languages (French, spanish, etc.) . Egyptian is arabic, and arabic is, well...arabic.

I have to go with Latin. Nothing was important until we decided that everything needed to rhyme with anus and hepatitis. I mean besides all that stuff about how for a number of years, Spanish was still being developed through old ass Latin words and sentences to announce weekly beheadings in the town square.
