Do you screen your phone calls? Or do you just always answer without looking first?

Screen, screen, screen.. my cell phone number is exactly the same for a popular newspaper where I live except for the area code.

I never answer calls from Anonymous or Number Withheld callers. I figure, if they want to hide their number from me, then they can get my voicemail. If it's important, they will leave a message and I'll call them back straight away. 9 times of out 10 it's a telemarketer.

Oh I screen. Every call almost everytime. You just never know which crazy ex it's going to be. Or which even crazier friend.

Yes I do screen them. I get too many phone calls in a day to want to answer them all. I listen to all my voice messages and if it's important I return the calls.

I always answer without screening. If I want to talk with the person I will. Telemarketers, I'll ask for their phone number to call back. They never give it though. Go figure!!! I tell them I'll call at dinner or bedtime, but they don't want me to.

As my Dad used to do alot of withheld's I now screen my incoming calls.

I don't have voice mail or caller ID. But I never answer the phone either. You want to reach me? Your best bet is email.

I not only screen, I have the "anonymous call reject" option enabled. If they don't let me see their number, my phone doesn't even ring once.

All the time now. Constantly bothered by ex-wife, telemarketers and charities wanting my hard earned money. And my friends usually send emails or call my cell phone.

i screen like a beast! i went thru a time when a couple of people (as in, a married couple) would call me non-stop to yell at me and berate me so i started looking at my caller id every time.

I have a different ringer for every person so I always know who is calling. I still screen the calls, 2 of my friends wine to much sometimes and when I'm feeling good I just don't want to hear it. I love them but sometimes it's took much to take.

No, I usually intend too but when it rings I automatically answer it...it stops the ringing..LOL

yes....why wouldn't I? My time at home is too short and precious to listen to sales pitches for siding...my house is brick. :-)
