If she is being hit, then she should call the police. Last time i checked, that is called assult. Also, a good idea would be to MOVE.

Find out what she wants to do. If she would like to get out of that unhealthy environment, then seek help in your area. You can start by calling Social Services or Planned Parenthood. If she wants to remain in that household, maybe you could look up some counselors or therapists in your area that she could talk with.

Well, she's already done what she shouldn't do. Now she is in a predicament where taking care of herself will be very hard. Her choices are limited. If she is physically abused she should call social services in her county.
