  • Take out an ad (not classified) in her hometown newspaper asking her to send your things back.
  • I am so sorry...I hope this didn't really happen to you! Wow! What were the things? Were they small things? Big things? Were they expensive? I'd say if they weren't that expensive or didn't mean that much then just forget about it. Not much of a friend! But if they were expensive or meant something to you then I'd personally would get mad enough to drive to the other state and get my things back. If that weren't possible then I would launch a pest attack...keep calling her every week and asking when she's going to send your things! People can be so inconsiderate!!
  • About all you can do is keep reminding her she has your things. Of course you could always plan a weekend trip and go get them.
  • Can you get her to tell you on paper, recorded, text, e-mail etc. that she will send them to you? If you can then you have proof that she has it....then sue her in small claims. Sorry this has happened to you.
  • Go pay her a visit and get your stuff back. Go with a baseball bat. ;)
  • Offer to let her keep some of the things worth more monetarily in exchange for mailing you the stuff with more sentimental value. It's not fair, but at least you'd get the more irreplaceable things back.
  • wow, that's no friend i would want, sadly the only way you may get your stuff back might be to just go get it yourself, like someone else said, take a weekend trip just to get it over with...
