  • First of all, take her stool into a vet to have it examined. Second, did you switch her food to a different kind? Because if you did all of a sudden that can cause runny stool as well.
  • My state will not allow pups to be sold before 8 weeks of age. The reason is the pups learn pack behavior, how to get along, ie socialization. I can agree with the breeder on the no vaccinations as there is a new protocol. The females antibodies may be interfering with the pups immune system if the vaccinations are given too early. The new suggestion is to start the vaccinations at 9 weeks so that the mom's antibodies do not override the vaccine. IE the pup is not protected because of the mom's immunity passed on in the colostrum. Worms could cause the runs/ change in environment/ change in food/ the wrong type or brand of food/eating crud in the yard etc, anxiety, flooding the guts with water. You need to be a detective. You did not say what food she was on. Look for a US made food, I like Castor and Pollux. It really helped my puppies and the company has been great to work with.
