  • Affirmative Action is the nice way to say it. Racial quotas and the like. Any time race is used as a basis, it's discrimination. No matter what endpoint you're trying to achieve.
  • Being a middle aged white male, it is alive and well.
  • Racism is the ignorant belief that certain skin colors have greater or lesser intelligence, character, etc. So logically, 'reverse racism' would imply tolerance.
  • Reverse racism is racism. I hate everyone equally.
  • Reverse Racism is the pejorative term attached to Affirmative Action, the attempt to right the racial wrongs of slavery and decades of subsequent Jim Crow laws and inequity. Affirmative Action was needed to right those wrongs. If you create an impoverished, poorly-educated underclass they will not pull themselves up by the bootstraps, because you made sure they were barefoot. However, Affirmative Action should run its course and eventually be replaced by a system that looks solely at ability and effort, and is race neutral. The question is has Affirmative Action already achieved its goals. Statistics say it has not. Non whites represent a far lower percentage of college graduates than whites, they earn far less on average, they form a drastically disproportionate segment of the prison population, they are far lower in home ownership, they die younger. It would seem from those facts we still have some work to do to right past wrongs.
  • Reverse racism is a way to dodge just being loving and peaceful to people. Its spam. Racism is racism, no matter what you call it. In this case it could be considered positive, but in a way that I'd say is called "jack-assery". Just be nice, be respectful, it doesn't need a name, and theres no need for "radical" actions on it. just live your life as an example for peace and respect.
  • It exists and it's against white people!
  • I prefer the term 'inverse racism'. It is when people become ultra-aware of race. If you can imagine a white person being offended because an electrician refers to a 'blackout', then that person is displaying inverse racism. Unfortunately it seems to be very widespread at the moment.
