I think they're a great group. The lead singer sings beautifully, and they're among the few positive influences for young girls these days. I'm not a country music fan, but I respect their music and their views a great deal.

I find "Goodbye Earl" rather disturbing. Songs about premeditated murder of a man shouldn't be celebrated and laughed about. I think women would be protesting in the streets if an all-male group published a similar song about murdering a woman.

See, in the neo-con America they are supposed to shut up and obey. They are pretty talented and make good music and that didn't change when they expressed their opinions. It's one thing America lost with the conservatives -- the absolute right to stand up and disagree. Two thumbs up and a salute as well.
