No, but possibly we shold edit and say why we've edited. ie. edited to correct spelling or edited to confuse you.

Yes. I have been involved in a dispute in which another answerer didn't believe the question had changed after I answered. He proceeded to rate me down and bash me in the comments section. Once it's been answered, it should be locked. Otherwise people like me look dumb if the question changes.

No. But I think people should have a longer period of time to able to edit after they've posted. I cringe when I see an obvious spelling, grammar mistake I cannot fix.

People should be able to reconsider their thoughts. Perhaps a notation that an answer or question has been edited or changed could be added... And it wouldn't hurt to add spellchek to AB.

That's an interesting thought. I've answered a few questions which were a little unclear so it was difficult to give good advice. The questions were then edited to something different so that the answers which had been given were no longer relevant. I think maybe the question should have the ability to show a small correction or clarification, similar to the current comment section on the answers. For answers, I really have no strong feelings either way.

Why Not - I've made simple mistakes and gone back and fixed them - This isn't a test

I don't think you should be able to edit the questions. It screws people up. But I think you should always be able to back and fix comments and answers. I make mistakes all the time and I would love to be able to fix them. And spell check. I desperately need spell check on here.
