that drives me nuts, one of my close friends is like that. sometimes i can't be around her because i wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut.her daughter will be 18 in 3 weeks, she didn't teach her how to check the fluids in her car, how to change a tire,my friend said that there is no reason for her to know. my friend also works two jobs so she gets very little sleep, her daughter will wake her to cook frozen pizza. everything is about her daughter, i just can't take it at times...

they are not parents. they are nothing but providers and enablers. parents prepare their children for adulthood.
