I have got a fence built all around my farm. Got 8500 granite pillars 7' tall. When put in a 2' pits 6' apart they gave me a uniform 5' tall pillars. Then 10 tonnes of barbed wire and binding wire. I had to buy some more once this was finished. I had to engage enough labor to get the job completed. Then planted creepers and cactus all over the ground under the fencing. Now all barbed wire is covered with green. It looks very much like a 6' live fence to anyone. Only a few know it has a barbed wire reinforcement!

I have only put up electric fence and it was probably about 3 feet high.

I've built many fences. Barbed wire, stockade, plank, post and rail, chainlink, etc. I guess the tallest fence was 8' to keep the deer out of our garden and orchard.

yes and it was 6 feet high...but I can still look over it ( barely)...LOL

We are working on the fence at the house now. The back is 8 feet high, the sides taper down to 6 feet on the sides and in the front. When we finish that one we will start on a 3 foot high picket fence in the front.
