My ps3 will turn on just fine no blank screen or anything but it will not let me access the xmb or to choose what account, what can i do?

You probally need to reset your system in menu options.
but it will delete all info you have.

I want to connect my pc screen to my PS3 but it only has a D-sub connector. I tried using a D-sub to VGI but it didn't work. Any advice?
