At least two. I like to roll them up into a ball and bounce them off the ceiling to practice my catching and throwing skills. They are also a good thing to use for storing coins because they stretch.

I have heard about how a cosh is made by filling a sock with sand and tying the top. A weapon that will knock out someone cold but will not cause visible injuries or death!

They are GREAT for cleaning your car, or a dust rag for around the house, ( slip your hand inside and you can get all the hard to reach places) Slip them over garden tools to protect them when not in use. slip them over a yard stick and you can reach cob webs with ease. fill them with a dog treat , tie them off and you have a new dog toy cut the toes off and use them as a protector for any glass items you want to store, (slip the sock over the glass item) fill them with rocks and you have a weight to hold open doors. ( I do this for our garage doors) We have a major sock monster in our house and I hate to waste them!
