That's funny you asked, because we have none for hundreds of miles but just last week a lady got bit by a rattlesnake walking her dog in a local forest.

Not at all, but there are lots venomous people living around...does that count?

There are 4 here in FL...Cottonmouth, Pygmy Rattler, Eastern Diamondback, & the king. Yes i have seen them all & actually owned an Eastern rattler until it bit one of my brothers.

Copperheads. My dog has been bitten twice. They aren't deadly unless the bite goes completely untreated.

it is rare in the city but yes copperheads, rattelers, and cottonmouths you see more about 50 mi outside of Philadelphia, in rural areas, but they are here

Yes, we've got timber rattlesnakes in our area, partially thanks to the state of New York who released several dozens of them in the state woods right next door to 'help balance the eco-system' LOL!!! Thanks a lot :-(
