Zeitgeist details a lot of pretty disturbing stuff about our banking system and about the world at large. If you've seen this movie, does it make you feel helpless?

It's a very interesting movie. I have it on my hard-drive. I think we must keep an open-mind and maybe not believe everything. Conspiracy theories are just that -theories. They've been known to put a slant on things to build their case and leave out inconvenient facts. Most of what they say about the banking system is probably true. So I ask myself "What can I do about it?". The first answer is "nothing". Thought some more about it and I get "I can try and find ways to beat the system or where possible remove myself from the system or where that's not possible to at least minimize the damage." like not using credit cards, avoiding loans, not buying things you don't really need and paying your mortgage off sooner. Basically, living a lifestyle that does not require a lot of money to keep it afloat.
