You are not defined by your degree, your title, or any other external thing. You are defined by yourself. You have demonstrated intelligence and ability in getting your degree, regardless of the subject. As for jobs, what is it you would like to do? What you do must be something that satisfies you...or you won't do a good job. So find something that you enjoy, that has rewards in satisfaction as well as money...and have a great life.

Just the fact that you have a degree in something opens up many doors for you. You've proved that you can keep up with a certain amount of work and there are many things out there that don't need a particular degree- unless you're gong into Sciences. At the worst, if a job demands a certain certification, many places offer individual classes to add to you degree and therefore widening your possibilities. Most places will consider you for a job where during their training they will ask you to take a night class, or even a class offered right there where you want the job. Tha's what training is for. Good luck! :)

what a great undergraduate major!!! i wish that i'd had the insight to study asian studies back in the day. there's nothing we can say or do to ever justify ourselves or our education. PERSONALLY, i'd combine an undergraduate major in asian studies with a master's degree in a practical field, like public health or business administration, gadz, even engineering and medicine - especially from the most competitive institutions. you could go very far with this background. good luck!
