Maybe you need your eyes tested. Books were beginning to do my head in - I couldnt concentrate on them for long and found the computer screen much brighter, clearer, easier. Turned out I needed reading glasses. Now I love books best of all - you can change how and where you sit or lie - it doesn't take time to switch them on, you can read in the bath or on the bus if you want, and most of all they are tactile, you can touch the words, the books have a smell and a colour and each one is different. The more senses an item uses, the more it is like a personal experience instead of a data stream. I know what you mean, but I love books.
