Hardwood floors in living room, easier to maintain, cleaner (I also like the way it looks). Carpet in bedrooms so in case you don't get to sweep that day, the dirt doesn't get into the sheets as bad off your feet. (I know you could put a rug down). Plus it looks comfy and that's how I want my bedroom to look.
