Before I was married, I was looking for a girl/woman who was happy being herself, who was a cheerful person, who wasn't irrational or needy, who was intelligent, who I could talk with. Stick to things like that and you'll meet quality guys; be a party animal and sleep around and you won't.

You have to show interest. If you like a guy, you have to let them know. As a male, I can speak for them. We are not the brightest and sometimes we don't have a clue. Depending on the intelligent level of the guy you may be able to get away with hints. That's always fun. Kind of like a game of clue with a possible happy ending. Communicate and speak slow, we may get it if we want it. If not let it go and move on. You hold most of the power, you just have to learn how to use it.

This very much depends on the guy. It's best to just be yourself. The compatible guys will find you. Just make yourself available when they come looking.
