Yes. When our cat Susi was new in our household 11 years ago ( she died on Oct.2. 2009) she looked curiously but then pretended not to see a thing and cleaned herself. From then on she left "our" room beforehand. She always sensed what was going to happen......Cats are very sensitive and she acted like a "lady"......
