The church doesnt know anything about god. Its knows about religion and all the rules, lies and misinformation it propogates. They may say they are experts on god, but they would wouldnt they? Gross arrogance in my opinion. Im sure god is horrified by religion - i would be

The only people who truly know about God is in Heaven, each indivisual knows just about God as everyone else. The church is not just one person claming to know God but a group of people trying to know God better.

I am an ex-Catholic. I have zero against Catholicism as a path, but as the one true religion, well, it's come back to bite them in the ass. The person who answered "they don't read the Bible" and the church reads it to them? Perfect. It's true. And the church doesn't have a clue as to what they are reading. Then there is the bitter irony that the Church is also reading from an edited version of the original Bible because they re-wrote it! Many times. The Bible used to include passages about reincarnation. EDIT. It was not presumed advantages politically at the Council of Nicea to keep that in there. So, I have a deep problem with religions who depend on no facts, just politics. My VERY favorite? Getting an annulment.

Why Church is taking the authority on God? God lies in everyone. Church is a big company who sell religion. You do not really need somebody between you and God. God is omnipotent, omnipresent and formless. Why you need a company who is highly political to show you God?
