  • Yes. I believe it is primarily lies and hyperbole to boost ratings, as they have admitted to in court.
  • Yes. everything you see on tv is fake and designed to take your money. look to the internet for real news.
  • A right-wing propaganda machine with some trace amounts of news mixed in.
  • I believe they are a right wing propaganda medium, not a regular news network.
  • No more then any other one. If you are a liberal, Fox is bad..Nasty, mean. But if it's CBS, NBC or any station kissing oblabba ass, then it's really good information..
  • It is really a news network. It really is slanted. It really wouldn't seem slanted if it was beamed back in time fifty years. . Meanwhile all the others also have a slant. The difference is that people assume that pre-existing slants are the baseline, and measure from there. . But there is no such thing as absolute zero in political leanings - it is arbitrary and changes by year. More importantly, regardless of what the general consensus might be it's never going to be represented by a corporate news program because they can't really know what that consensus is. They all call it as they see it. When they piss off enough people they lose market share and then reassess. An occasional ratings spanking by the public is not quite the same thing as having your finger on the pulse of America.
  • No. Anita Dunn's assertion is silly but I'm not so dumb as to believe everything anybody says. My opinion, for what it's worth, is that the administration is clearly aware that the people are seeking information from a source that is not only putting out the administrations message but is also putting out the argument against it and the administration doesn't like it. The adminsitration doesn't like it because the people don't seem to like the message that they're hearing from the administration. This is almost a rerun of the White House vs The Washington Post, New York Times. Jack Anderson, Daniel Elsberg et al. in the Nixon era. There are a lot of people seeking information from a source that they deem more credible than the main stream. Lincoln said it best, "You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time." Rhetoricly speaking, the people are not stupid, they will find you out. This post is from a conservative site however the numbers are from Nielsen. If you will follow the Nielsen numbers you will find them to be consistant, they speak for themself. http://hotairpundit.blogspot.com/2009/10/cable-news-ratings-glenn-beck-within.html
