How has it been scientifically proven?Show me the proof.Don't say something has been proven unless you can back it up.Can you? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdeiRYXwg1E

Science has not proven that God does not exist, it just hasn't proven God does yet. God isn't obviously man-made, religion is.

Provide a link!

Oh, this I gotta see! I'll get the popcorn.

I think you just made that up.

I have yet to see science prove or disprove any deity. Yet, it is obviously man-made. Some people disagree with that, or ignore it. The most important thing is to protect their beliefs. It should make anyone uncomfortable to know that they would believe in a completely different deity and theology if they were born elsewhere. Many people do not think about that, or they rationalize it.

Please post the scientific proof.

Adult religious people need a god as a parent substitute. They are happy to be self - deluded. It implies insecurity. Children just believe in god because they have been told to by their parents.

Science cannot disprove god in the same way that it can't disprove unicorns or fairies. The question should be placed upon believers to prove they are right. Science works by proving a supposition correct by peer reviewed empirical evidence. If a supposition fails peer review it is treated as false. Science is not in the bussines of proving or disproving gods.

The problem Science has with the God issue is that it can only operate within the laws of physics. In other words, if something isn't tangible/physical is doesn't exist. That leaves no leeway for 'The Unknown' and this is where Spiritual matters and God come into the equation but outside the realms of a scientific hypothesis. I'm open minded to the possibility of 'Another Dimension' of existence outside matter but have yet to see evidence of it. I cannot be drawn into blind faith.

Haha, nice try. I myself am an atheist, and I can pretty confidently tell you that the existence of God has NOT been definitively disproven - not that it needs to be anyway (reason dictates belief should follow evidence, not precede it) The video you have cited uses some pretty basic logical arguments that just don't apply to the concept of a transcendant infinite being. It tries to "pull" the supposed being INTO the universe and MAKE IT subject to the laws of the universe, when obviously, most religious people tend to refute that this is even possible, and that the being is transcendant by nature and always has been. Again, I don't believe any of this. But you are fooling yourself if you think you have scientifically disproven God using a 3-minute logic session.

My hypothesis (such a lofty word) is that our epistemological devices are different, and this is the main opposition to acceptance of the premises of any argument for God’s existence. It would be premature for me to come to a conclusion that atheists will reject any argument because they disagree with the conclusion the argument is leading up to. Perhaps use of Bayes’ theorem could paint a better picture for the likelihood of there existing a deity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayes'_theorem Or not; there are many other formal arguments pushing that it is more likely than not that a God exists. I’m biased of course, but I thought Reasonable Faith: Christian Truth and Apologetics (3rd edition) was an interesting read, although it is geared for a Christian to read, for tools of apologetics. It's kind of pricey though, 20 bucks, so borrow it. Perhaps if you get past the initial chagrin, it will make an interesting read also?

Actually .. i can't find any theory explain that (Why everythings including me)exist?? why not how the answer for sure is the existance of GOD

It's good business

Though I very much doubt science has proven that there is no god, there isn't a single shred of evidence that there is one. Why people persist in superstitious and tribalistsic thinking is complicated and too big a subject for AB. But some key points would include: 1. Intellectual laziness - It's easier to believe what one is told rather than to learn what has been discovered. 2. Fear of an unknown, so filling it with an imaginary being is less frightening. 3. People brought up to believe in their local mythology and never question it's validity (related to #1) I could go on but that's enough for now. +5

I don't know but odds are there is/might be a creator after all it's kinda hard to get a egg with out the chicken but that doesn't mean there's a god? Could be a kid (a really smart kid) from the other side of the universe that made Earth for his 9th grade science project and when graduation comes... he'll be back to dismantle it all. Might be their school year is a 100 billion years long? And the class might be a part of it like a law class "Paper Trail" where one student adds " Lets raise the Global Temperature 2 degrees just to observe the difference in the out come? Then they watch Florida become one giant water park???? Who knows!
