  • I'm not sure if it's insomnia or not, but I have the same exact problem 'cept i sleep heavily and deeply and feel great at school (most of the time) but when it comes to acutally falling asleep it takes me anywhere from 15 min. to 3 hours. send me a comment when you get an answer :)
  • Try to get rid of some stress, don't eat anything within an hour of sleeping, and don't watch, play, or do anything that stimulates the mind within an hour of sleep. I'm not sure, it's just a guess. You could use prophopol like Michael Jackson, but i don't think you would like the whole dying part (jk). Good luck!
  • Try melatonin.
  • try valarian tea mixed with some honey.it doesn't taste that bad and can knock me out within ten minutes.good luck.
  • melatonin and valerian tea are ok. I'd rather you not take a synthetic hormone, that's what melatonin is, at your age. As important it is to wind down for an hour before sleep, it is just as important to prep. the body for relaxation. Very mild excersice 2 hours before bed helps alot, what ever you like to do, shoot hoops, skip rope, walk. just enough to make you break a sweat. Try this, tense up your leg for a few seconds while seated and then relax it, doesn't it fell like the tension in the leg is less than before, that's how it works. PS stretching is an excersize too.
  • Try not eating before bed (especially sugars, caffeine) and take a warm shower right before bed.
