How many years of Tertiary education did you complete? Was it worth it? What degrees did you come out with?

Interesting term for this: "tertiary" I suppose if you graduated college you ought to know the meaning. I did 4 years, then another 2 years - 6 yrs. total. Had B.A degree and then other accredidations and contuing education programs that garnered me other nonsense titles and training, and letters to attach after my name (if I chose to which I do not) which, to me personally, make no matter and have not enriched my life alot. They only helped me earn abit more money over time is all.

I did 4 years of "tertiary" education (that means going to uni dunnit?)... 1 year studying for a BSc Hons degree in Economics, which I hated because it was all maths and not at all how I had pictured it being, and then 3 years studying for a BA Hons degree in Classics (a combination of Latin and Ancient Greek language and literature studies, with some Ancient History and Classical Civilisation thrown in) which I completed... I won't say which class I was awarded, I will leave you guessing on that! After that I was accepted to study for an MPhil degree in Egyptology at Oxford, but I deferred it for a year to go abroad and then struggled to get funding to cover the course fees and didn't really have as much enthusiasm for going back to Uni anyway (especially at several grand a year out of my own pocket!) so knocked that idea on the head unfortunately. After I gained my A levels from college I studied for a BSc (HONS) degree at the University of Leeds. After this, ands a year out, I am now studing for my medical qualification, an MBBS at the University of Newcastle, with the pre-clinical years at Queen's campus of Durham in Stockton. In total that will make it 8 years at university. However, after I qualify, asit stands there will be a couple of years of being a practising doctor on a Foundation learning course, which as it stands will be another two years before I become fully accredited as a medical doctor.
