Just remember it does good to your grandmother and that you're taking care of her. Don't be scared of hurting her it does her good, if that's what the doctors claim. Just keep a positive thought about what you're doing.

Well, I would advise you to try. I got to my forties and then had to cope with a mum with cancer who needed stomach injections. I couldn't do it. My sister couldn't do it, so a doctor had to come out each day to do it. if I had been better prepared as a young one, I might have been more help to mum, and less of a burden on the doctor.

just do it, and dont give her the wrong stuff like you almost did before, just think what will happen if you dont do it,

My two best friends need to take a shot of Insulin every morning and night. (they're brothers). I give it to them all the time. I used to be scared, but it's really not that bad. You dont even do it in any veins. Only fatty parts. (back of the arm)

Like Reggie said in an episode: POSITIVE THINKING!

Insulin is one of the easiest shots to give, you will be keeping her in good health by doing it. It may be easier on you if you can use the glaucometer first to prick her finger and check the bm levels. Practise with this first until you build your confidence at providing care for her.

i would try to learn how to do it because there may be a day when your parents around around (for whatever reason) and she might need one! i supposed there is always the ambulance option, but they don't always arrive soon enough. anyhow, your grandmother is likely used to it by now, so i wouldn't worry about hurting her with it. really, it is loving more than anything else!
