  • Go to your state government site, like California.gov. somewhere on that site, you will find a box to check, in order to change your address. click onto to that box. the next site will ask for your name and drivers license number and old address. if also may ask for your date of birth. fill out the appropriate boxes and submit. Some states only change your address in their computer banks and the officers can check this on their police car's laptop computer. other states send a place-on sticker, to add to the reverse side of your drivers license. this sticker will contain all your updated information. some states mail you a piece of paper, to carry with you, showing all updated information. Now, lets talk about that citation, thats 2.5 years old.................
