They don't have time here. At the very instant the leaves dry, we will be guaranteed a brief yet intense hurricane which will stick them to our car windscreens and dangerously slippy cobbled streets!

No. The only colour change so far is brown from the heat and drought.

They've been doing it for a coupe of weeks already, maybe longer. We're near peak, I think. It's really lovely, especially in the mornings when the pond is still and all the trees are reflected in the water, twice the color!

The leaves don't usually change here at all, some of the native vegetation comes out of its dead looking summer state and liven up a bit though.

this part of Florida the trees only change slightly,here i'll explain.green is now late summer.brown in the winter.black from fires in the spring.we have 10 months of summer and 1 1/2 months of spring and 2 weeks of winter
