I feel loved by Him, but I also suspect He's got a twisted sense of humor.

No, I don't believe in God at all. But I have been thinking about the definition of "Divine Love" a lot recently, so I shall ramble on it for a few moments. They say that you always hurt the ones you love, so who's to say that love of a God would be any different than that of people? It's possible for "Love" and cruelty to go hand in hand. I believe that if God exists, and if god loves all humans, then it's more of a jealous, cruel possesive love. Why just look at the God of the old testemant. Being "Loved" by someone, God or otherwise, doesn't mean that they can't hurt you or be cruel because of it. So really, the "God Loves You" theory could hold up if you consider the nature of human love, and for all I know "God" could love me. But I don't believe in any of that bollocks myself for many other reasons, I just felt like rambling on about it.

I don't feel loved by God because God does not exist.

I feel loved by God, because He is alway faithful to me. When I fail, and make mistakes he is still there gently correcting me, and convicting my heart. He puts people in my way. He never gives up on me, although at times I can be very stubborn. He speaks to my heart and points out the right direction for me to go. He is my comforter when I am down. He is my friend when I'm alone. He is my provider when I'm in need. He is my shield and buckler when I'm in trouble. He is with me in the midst of turmoil. He is with me when I'm surrounded by mine enemies. He is my strength when I am week. He helps me with my children; to train them in the right way. He covers them with His precious blood when they go their seperate ways. I definetly do not doubt God's love for me. His love is unfailing, and unconditional although when I choose to do wrong it hurts Him very much. I am definetly his little one as He looks at all of us.

He is always with me, and He is talking with me- my conscience is His voice.

Yes, because I feel his/her love, peace, and presence. Be still and listen, and you too can know it, whether you choose to call it "God" or not.

There was this one night- but when I woke up in the morning, he was gone. He never emails, he never calls, and when I call him, I just get his answering service. I feel so used.
