  • Who's to say what's reasonable. You are from a different country so you have different beliefs and Cultures. If you expect them to adapt to you, then you are the one being "unreasonable"
  • I don't think it's a matter of being unreasonable, it's just that their customs are so different from ours, and they usually don't bother to learn our customs before coming here, and then they tend to stick out and some people find them offensive. When they realize that people are finding them offensive, that's when they appear to you to be unreasonable - it's like a defense mechanism.
  • Reasonable according to whom? It's relative!
  • WHY ?????????????????Diversity is what make us, grow, think,invent,create...
  • idk try it, and see.
  • I will be honest, most foreigners can get on my nerves very easily. I am sure, though, that I would do the same to them if I tried to assimilate their culture. Foreigners have legal barriers, language barriers, and usually poverty to overcome. We are all a nation of immigrants so I think we should try to give foreigners a break when we can. I do not like illegal immigrants. I also think companies should not be allowed to import immigrants to take American jobs. If big business wants to sell product in the USA, they can hire Americans to do it. They can pay to train Americans' too. +5
  • Every culture has its own norms, and foreigners most likely don't know and/or understand those norms. Here in the US, there are a lot of daily customs and things that a lot of people know as "common courtesy" that we take for granted. We don't have to think about them because we grew up immersed in these things. You can't hold them accountable for every faux pas they make because they don't know what's considered "acceptable" and what kind of behavior is taboo. They could honestly believe that they are being "reasonable" according to the customs that they are familiar with, when in another country they are coming off as rude or intolerable.
  • Not as long as the US wants to make the UN a subsidiary of its foreign policy. :P
  • Ha ha ha. Well, no. I suppose. Americans could use a little pulling in, too.
  • Reasonable as in, leave your issues in your own country? NOPE. Not just "foreigners" EVERYONE!! Noone will be reasonable. They are too hot headed.
  • Will You?
  • Reasonable to your standard?
  • By foreigners I trust you're referring to Americans.
  • Reasonable is relative. What is reasonable or tolerant here may not be in their city or country. What is reasonable on the west coast may not be reasonable on the east coast or even from person to person. To be reasonable, we must reason with others unreasonableness. Only then may reason be achieved. We must find what we are content with and willing to accept as our core beliefs and stick to those. Everyone else is just passing through. LOL. This is coming from someone with anger and control issues. I have to be this way.... Otherwise I want to be like Michael Douglas in Falling Down. :)
  • Could you narrow that question down a tincy bit...
