My personal belief has always been thet JFK was killed by the mafia because he backed out of some promises that he had preveously made with them during his campaign. Lee Harvey Oswald was probably the hit man assigned, and there must have been some fear of him spilling the beans, so he was eliminated by Jack Ruby.

I see it can be possible she had something to do with it but then it again the suspects were almost endless and the conspiracy ties were numerous such as the magic bullet where it was shot from a rifle at the sixth floor of the Texas School Book depository went through JFK's neck then governor Conally's chest,wrist,and embedded its self in his thigh while managing to pass through 15 layers of clothing,7 layers of skin,15 inches of tissue and removed 4 inches of rib and shattered a radius bone. All this was done with one bullet that stayed intact besides the tail being a little compressed on one side. JFK was wounded between frame 210 and 225 of the Zapruder film followed by governor Conally was wounded back/chest no later then frame 240 so there was no way for Lee Havey Oswald to make all those inflictions on the two within seconds from one bolt action rifle, appearing that there was more then one shooter but with one bullet to do all those wounds seems impossible.

Still, with each bit of new information, some suspects just can't be guilty.
Starting with Oswald. "They say" he did it for attention, or because he was a Communist, or any number of Palinistic platitudes. THINK ON IT: Having been caught (more clearly: arrested) within two hours of the event, why start denying your great accomplishment? Why say you are a patsy, when you (supposedly) think you did the world a service? Wouldn't you say "That's right! I shot the bastard, and he had it coming!". No, he said "I didn't shoot anybody. I'm just a patsy!". You folks try so hard to tell everybody what this man was thinking, but I say, if he did it and was caught that quickly, he would behave like the man who shot the Pope.
But no, you DO NOT know what this man was thinking, any more than you know what Palin is thinking! "They say" he was a loner, and a loser. Who, by the age of 24 was married with two children, learned one of the world's most difficult languages, JOINED the Free Play for Cuba group, and hung around with unsavory types in New Orleans. Get your stories straight! This man thought HE was spying on the bad guys. His "best friend" (Adamson wrote 12 books about) George DeMohrenschildt had George Bush's name and address in his address book (TRUE). His best friend was involved with the international politics of oil. Sounds like Bush, too. His best friend "shot himself" hours before having to testify.
And Carlos Marcello, who Oswald's uncle knew, had been forcibly deported by RFK and swore death threats against JFK. Oswald was NEVER heard to even criticize JFK. Doesn't that sound odd too you, Ms. Palin's of the world? You don't hesitate to criticize the President. Would that make you a suspect?
And yes, a Vice President from Texas almost became President again, by assassination, doncha know? Why was he even on the ticket, having ridiculed Reagan (Reaganomics) and fighting against him so bitterly in primaries?
Oh, you wonder why a secret like this hasn't leaked out? Gee, has the mystery of Jimmy Hoffa's disappearance leaked out? Has it? Have the many manipulations of misguided US officials (in Chile, Guatemala, Panama, etc.) leaked out?
If you use the classic tool in solving crimes, you say the Latin phrase: CUI BONO?
That means "who benefits"? OK, then how about:
1. Lyndon Johnson, obviously, was the first major beneficiary
2. Endangered CIA/fired CIA leaders (JFK swore he would scatter it to the winds)
3. Big Business and Oil (depletion allowances, etc.)
4. Hawks in the military who were outflanked, outsmarted, and countermanded by JFK (Missile Crisis, Pulling Out of Viet Nam!, and more)
5. Mafia men who knew no JFK would mean no more RFK
6. Anti-Castro cubans, who worked with mafia and CIA as well
7. Skull and Bones.
Within two days of his taking office, LBJ rescinded JFK's orders to pull out of Viet Nam. Can you even guess who this benefited? Give it a try.

althought he held firm and didn't sing for the cops, Jacqueline Kennedy still had to tie up this last lose end. under the pretext of a secret visit, she and her cohorts injected jack ruby with a tiny air bubble, inducing the Pulmonary embolism that ended his life. after this Jacky-o was a free woman.

How does THIS sound?
First, Lee Harvey was SUPPOSED to be an assassin (along with others to ensure the job got done), but for one reason or another, decided to back out at the last minute. (Which is probably why he hurriedly returned home to retrieve a pistol--because he KNEW he would become a "marked" man.)
The remaining assassin(s) complete the assassination.
Lee Harvey has a confrontation with a cop. He shoots him. Why? Perhaps, because the cop was "in" on the act, and either: 1. Confronted Lee about his decision to back out of the assassination; 2. Was supposed to "take out" Lee, after Lee performed the assassination.
Why did Jack Ruby shoot Lee, afterwards? What had Lee done to Jack? Was Jack THAT much of a JFK fan--that he would kill Lee, even before Lee was officially charged, and convicted of JFK's assassination? OR, was Jack UNDER ORDERS to perform the "hit"--because of LEE's supposed role, and subsequent knowledge of the dastardly plan?

Basil. Looks like lots of people liked your answer of Lee Harvey Oswald even though serious researchers have pretty much ruled him out as the actual assassin. I can only imagine that those who are agreeing with you are part of the (spiritual) coverup.
